Do you think Moyes could be sacked if we continue losing?
Ok, so it's only been one game, but we got off to the worst possible start and now have a tough run of games.

He only has around 9 months left on his contract, and isn't on a huge basic salary, so his pay off shouldn't really be an issue. Eddie Howe is available.

So could he go, or after last time will they stand by him no matter what?

I think they'll attempt to use him as a scapegoat and he'll be sacked after this horrific run we have coming up.

We’ve got a tough run of 37 games coming up.

Getting rid of Moyes and bringing in Howe would be like shitting in your own bed.

Re: Do you think Moyes could be sacked if we continue losing?
No, I don't think they will sack him. They will be trying to cling on by the skin of their teeth until they sell the club so won't react to us having 0 points in November as they will be thinking there will be winnable games to come.

Vexed - Yep, would guarantee nothing of course.

Were they to sack him, they'd more likely try and convince the OAF to come back rather than go for someone like Howe.

Re: Do you think Moyes could be sacked if we continue losing?
Johnson - You may well be right. Tbf they would no doubt see Howe as a risky appointment.

Re: Do you think Moyes could be sacked if we continue losing?
they won't do anything until we're adrift after Bout fifteen games. you can see what the cunts are up to, putting him in a position where no money is available even though they've already moved on four or five players, and selling rice as the only way moyes will get to strengthen the team. they did exactly the same the summer before bilic was sacked

Howe ticks a couple of big boxes for them.

He's British, and most importantly, he'll be cheap.

Worse manager in West Hams history!

No other club will go anywhere near him, so, no, they won't sack him!

!) Who would want it that we would want.
2) We all know that's the equivalent of changing your brand of sticking plaster when we actually need a new competent surgery team.

Re: Do you think Moyes could be sacked if we continue losing?
i reckon he's got another 4 or 5 defeats in him before they even think about acting.

they've employed this loser twice, just imagine who they'll employ next.

I imagine Howe will bode his time knowing other, better run clubs with easier owners to work with will look to change their manager pre Xmas

Don’t see him saying yes to us.

Re: Do you think Moyes could be sacked if we continue losing?
If we lose without any fight, similar to the Tottenham and Wolves games after lockdown, then I’d say it’s a possibility. He’s going to need at least one win and perhaps a couple of draws. God knows who they’d have wanting to work for them next, it’d be Nolan I’d assume.

Phil Neville
Sol Campbell
Hope Powell
Big Eck

I keep forgetting Nolan is there. Yup. He is nailed on to take over. Said that the day they employed him.

I think Moyes is an improvement on all those mentioned! If we sack Moyes perhaps we should get Pellegrini or Bilic back for their 2nd go round...

Only kidding!
